Howzit y’all? So as you all are probably aware by now I have a thing against bullies, always have. Probably due to growing up with martial arts classes and having the importance of showing respect drilled into me. I am and will continue to support those who can’t defend themselves in whatever way I can. In this case? By continuing to show solidarity with the courageous people of Palestine due to their oppression under terrorist, apartheid, colonial rule and those suffering and being exploited in Congo for the harvest of Cobalt minerals.
Last night once again I was on TikTok scrolling the feed and getting more information about the status of those brave souls on college campuses worldwide. While I was, I came across another video showing a young boy; couldn’t have been more than eight years old. Y’all ever get that sinking feeling? Like everything is just going way too well and you’re just waiting for when things go horribly wrong? Yeah…that was my experience last night.
This video had this little Palestinian boy singing his little song in what appeared to be maybe a building resembling a dorm? He’s singing his little song when all of a sudden there’s an explosion and the camera cut to black suddenly. It took me a couple seconds last night to realize I literally just watched the terrorist state of Israel kill a kid that couldn’t even be ten years old. Not that I was in any rush to support apartheid occupiers, but that? Just once again verified to me that nothing Israel is doing is justified. After all, how do you justify the LITERAL murder of children?
That’s the thing as well, you can’t justify it. Why? Quite simply it’s the definition of indefensible behavior. Now anyone here in the US that’s saying well they sided with ABC party, so they’re getting what they deserve. Those people are simply put buying actual propaganda hook, line, and sinker. It’s ironic that this group of people doesn’t seem to want to educate themselves either. When presented with clear concise argument that has a primary, secondary and tertiary source presenting the facts plain and simple? Well that can’t possibly be right and I don’t trust those sources those are propaganda sources. I’m sure we all know someone like that unfortunately.
Simply put, those who actually still have their ethics and morals like anyone following this blog are the majority. Those opposed to ending the slaughter? Well, those individuals aren’t anyone’s friends. In any event, after bearing witness last night to the literal murder of a child I felt the spirit of former poets and activists descend upon me. Following below is an original poetic work, if it makes you angry? Good, that’s righteous anger at the atrocities being committed.
I humbly present “Innocence Continues Burning”
As US continues supporting terrorist “ally” protests happening worldwide… Block party and digitine movement, applying mounting pressure. Sleepers awakening en masse, fresh revolutionaries on fire for justice.
Social media scrolling, finding the faithful everywhere; new faces and voices, all seeking end to ethnic cleansing. Utter horror, seeing singing child snuffed out in explosive fashion. Knowledge quietly held, ability to shut phone off well within my reach. Meanwhile no end to bombs’ decimation; dwindling Palestinian population, all crying out for the liberty denied them.
Millions worldwide, demanding in unified voices. Stop senseless slaughter, cease aiding apartheid occupation. Same sentiment, echoed internationally in United Nations’ halls. Diary of Palestinians, on display for the world to see. Eyes on Rafah with ear to the ground; waiting for world to awaken and collar criminal traitors wearing lapel-pin of “leadership”. Until then, the world watches; united in activism as innocence continues burning.
