How’s it going y’all? I’ve had a busy little bit of time since my last post, been going through some old and recent photos and doing a good bit of editing too. Throughout the process I found some more recent pics I took after I’d gotten my new tattoo done.

I did my own looking and between a few reference images my artist and I came up with a design I really liked. I wanted to incorporate the idea of trinity for religious reasons. Along with this I wanted the centerpiece to be a skeleton key incorporating vine work. The reason for the key is some lyrics from NF’s intro III “‘Cause I thought you had me in prison this whole time, but I’m the one holdin’ the keys…”
There is truly nobody limiting us but ourselves. To take more lines from another NF song The Search
“Just think about it for a second, if you look at your face
Every day when you get up and think you’ll never be great
You’ll never be great, not because you’re not, but the hate
Will always find a way to cut you up and murder your faith”
There’s no limit except that which we put on ourselves. We are the wardens of of souls and the one holding the keys to liberate ourselves. The vines are olive leaves twining around the key, peace at the understanding of these concepts. A constant reminder that there is absolutely no limit, other than that which I place on myself.
Another take on this and one I enjoy to this day is from Assassin’s Creed Revelations….
At this point in my life, I know who I am. To quote a wise green little Jedi though…
In any event…this new ink will serve as a constant reminder that I have power. As do all of you my friends, as always…
