What’s up y’all? So a few weeks have gone by since I arrived back home in Indiana. Got keys to my new place, started moving some things in. Currently I’m waiting to get paid before ordering the next thing on my list.
A king sized mattress. Right now I’m working with a futon; though there’s nothing quite like your own bed. Been busy looking around on Facebook Marketplace to find possible matches for furniture. Just cause I’m home doesn’t mean I can just sit back and relax.
I’ve been experiencing something I missed dearly while living in Idaho. The Midwest Summer storms; rain, rolling thunder and intermittent lightning arcing through the skies. It stirs something deep in my soul. As I was contemplating some feelings the other night I wrote a wee little poem. Kinda inspired by being home and flowering feelings and emotions about the woman I took out to dinner recently.
In any case I present Joyful Abandon.
Rapha Yada my friends,
Richard
The state of my heart? A storm. Turbulent feelings and emotions roiling within my chest. Like leaves, caught in a gust of wind. Swirling upwards with joyful abandon.
