Sunsets Over The Ohio

What’s up y’all? Well yesterday was one heck of a day. I may hit on that later, feeling cute who knows what’ll happen? All joking aside there’ve been some more poetically soulful thoughts knocking boots in my head. Figured I’d share some with y’all. Enjoy 🙂

Holding this pillow I think of you. Heater oscillating while the simulated sounds of a crackling fire plays form my tv. God above and devil below I wish you here with me.

Sheen of sweat covering me as I jerk back awake. The feel of your fingers gently gripping my hipbone as I shakily wipe sleep from my eyes. Dreams growing more vivid the closer I get to moving. Whether the spiritual or emotional connection I can’t be for sure. I am sure though my feelings are deepening.

Over months, messages and phone calls I’ve begun caring and praying more and more. Soul longing for home and heart longing for you as thoughts of Midwest sunsets over the Ohio lull me back to sleep.
