Quarantine Entertainment List

How’s it going y’all? So right now with all this Corona Virus crap going on there’s shortages I’d imagine across the country of certain things because of the news outlets whipping the people into a frenzy about how the end is nigh.

All nerdy jokes aside. This is a time for me of almost panicky aloneness, especially as I’m an extroverted introvert. I like socially interacting and being part of society up until I want to just go get coffee and read a book somewhere in peace.

Hell I can’t even go to Starbucks and sit inside because everywhere is closing down. To be completely honest, even with roommates I feel very alone. I talked with someone very special and increasingly more special to me the other night. If you’ve been paying attention to the last few posts here on my blog you’ll understand it’s the same woman. 🙂

Now as it stands I feel fairly alone but she did tell me she’s a fan of romantic comedies so. Since everyone is content to stay home during this time I introduce my list of things to watch arranged by type and genre.

Series

  • Avatar The Last Airbender (A True Gem of an Animated series 10/10)
  • Psych (Y’all can find this one on amazon prime in their tv shows if y’all are looking for fairly clean humor and seriousness this is a great series)
  • Chuck (Again can find this on amazon prime and it is a great show)
  • Arrow (This brilliant show recently came to an end but has some incredibly powerful lessons in the episodes)
  • Flash (Series hasn’t concluded however there are around 5 seasons available and once again can offer some very powerful lessons)
  • Breaking Bad (Netflix, a cult classic series)
  • Stargate SG-1 (Amazon Prime. You’re welcome)

Movies

  • The Garden of Words (Netflix, This gem of an animated movie communicates to me falling in love gradually, naturally even if there is an age gap. The art style of this animated film is in my opinion breathtaking.)
  • In my opinion because I’m a huge nerd. Literally Star Wars. Yes I do mean all of it. (Disney+)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean (Disney+) #Justice4JohnnyDepp
  • Dune 2000 starring Alec Newman (May have to look but I believe Youtube has it available to either rent or purchase fairly cheaply.)
  • The Proposal with Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock, and The National treasure that is Betty White. (This movie is amazing for a variety of reasons and there’s a reason it makes the list.)

These are kinda my go to movies and shows. Believe it or not all of these shows and movies have significant lessons to teach. Hope y’all are staying safe out there. In any event I’ll catch y’all later, who knows? Might start doing a live stream or upload of some of my thoughts to youtube. I did get this new (to me) MacBook Air and I still need to test out the bells and whistles.

Anyways catch y’all soon. God Bless!
