Fear Is The Mind-Killer

Sup y’all? So recently with all the absolute insanity I’ve been having a great deal more thoughts to work with for blogging. I mean with all the talk of insanity like to be completely honest with y’all I saw memes on facebook about hoarding toilet paper and didn’t believe it. Until I went to Walmart and saw for myself.

Reading articles about how this virus is gonna be the end of times and meanwhile there are brilliant, highly educated doctors saying hey this isn’t as bad as people think. Heck they’re even saying shame on the media for propagating fear. Video game companies are shutting down huge conferences, sports teams are shutting down events or finding ways to play their season through football game tourneys. Schools and colleges are closing down, so a place to y’know educate ourselves about what’s actually going on.

First is shutdown of education….

Intriguingly all these businesses closing and people hoarding things like idgets is having a rather interesting effect tactically speaking. I mean finances are being destabilized, fear is being propagated at a prodigious rate, which will lead to riots somewhere.

Then? Destabilization of both economics, and morale/sanity.

Supply and demand. This is what I call perfect chaos. The art of war even advises that to overthrow opposition you cause fear to the point of hysteria. I’d say this toilet paper crap qualifies. In my mind it’s fairly obvious what’s going on. Trump was put on trial for impeachment.

Clearly he was acquitted, in my opinion wrongly. Now though the UN is being called in to potentially oversee election proceedings due to the US president being a lying sack of excrement. You can be acquitted and still guilty as sin. See OJ Simpson as an example. There’s a problem with having the UN oversee election proceedings. It means other nations can potentially have a say in the United States’ future.

All of this can be summed up very succinctly by some parting advice from one of the greatest science fiction authors ever. Frank Herbert, author of Dune “Knowing where the trap is – that’s the first step in evading it. This is like single combat, Son, only on a larger scale – a feint within a feint within a feint… seemingly without end.”

Secondly “Keep the mind on the knife and not on the hand that holds it. The knife is more dangerous than the hand and the knife can be in either hand.” As a citizen just be aware that all of these crazy fear things and how they’re feints within feints. Y’all please for the love of God do your own research aside from what CBS or Fox or NBC is saying. There’s a reason these highly educated Doctors are saying not to worry about this Virus. I caution y’all not to let fear blind you.

Mind the knife, not the hand holding it.

God Bless Y’all
