NF Concert

Sup y’all? I’ve had a lot going on recently. Job, home life, etc. in any case I took the opportunity a few months back to simply commit and drop $80 on a ticket to a concert.

Holy crap I’m glad I did. The opening act was good but good grief! NF was electric beginning to end.

One of the things I love about this artist is he’s real. #NFRealmusic just his rawness. Typically something is lost in making music. Studio quality is different than live music etc. This? No. It’s just as good live as it is listening on headphones in your room.

I said he was electric. This is the only show I’ve been to where over 90% of the audience knows the lyrics by heart. People identify with the artist and the messages. I’ve referenced how Nate uses physical items as allegory in his music.

The cage from Perception, the shopping cart and black balloons from his single Why are examples. Just… the way he clearly, cleanly and with obscene fluidity weaves words is incredible. I either had my phone out to shoot photos, record vid, or I was just another guy in the crowd.

Hand up, bumping to the bass, words flowing from my tongue in time with an artist who knows what pain and loneliness are like.
